“My knee hurts when I move.”

“My knee feels tight after sitting.”

They may sound similar, but joint pain and joint stiffness aren’t exactly the same thing.

Pain refers to discomfort or soreness around the joint, while stiffness can make the joint feel harder or slower to move.

Both can affect simple everyday activities, from getting out of bed to climbing the stairs.

Pay attention to what your body is telling you, especially if the symptoms are persistent or affecting your daily routine.
